We now have our first look at a new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Phat Low ‘Black Taxi’. The black leather upper with tiny yellow polka dots that gives the shoe a textural effect. It also bounces well off of the shoes black suede panels and black patent leather swoosh. With a white midsole and yellow outsole the yellow stitching around the swoosh. Jordan Brand is set to release several packages inspired by Michael Jordan’s 60+ point achievements.
Back in January 16th 1993, Michael Jordan dropped 64 points on the Orlando Magic in Orlando. On that night, Michael rocked the Black/Red, the infamous “Raptors”. The Air Jordan VII 60+ package will bring with it a re-retro Black/Red Air Jordan VII. Closer to the OG Black/Red Air Jordan VII, the nubuck on the upper is lighter than the 2002 retro. Everything else remains in tact. The Air Jordan VII 60+ package, Black/Charcoal-Team Red is scheduled to release on August 22, 2009.
